Rant

Everyone has a best friend, wether they have two or three it doesn't really matter. But everyone has someone they're close to, it can be a male or female, cat or dog, it could talk to remain silent, either way, your always going to have someone. But isn't it frusterating when your a girl and your best friend is a boy, and this said best friend gets a girlfriend. And all of a sudden your the enemy. The alien on the outskirts if you will, you no longer hear from that best friend let alone see him/her. And slowly your relationship is slipping through your fingers and there is very little you can do about it. But just when things are starting to look up, and civil conversations continue- secrets are shared and kept once more and all is good. That new girlfriend rips the rug right out from under your feet and your flat on you behind, wondering, what the hell! Turns out the girlfriend is threatened by the friendship you hold with that best friend of yours, with her boyfriend. And it seems like he has no back-bone to stand up for you, his bestfriend and himself, or he's just chosing to drop you from the picture all together, loose the best friend, and get the girl. Seems like girls these days are just as insecure as ever, heaven forbid you have a best friend, let alone a best friend of the opposite sex.
